AMAL AND THE STORYBOOK PRINCESSES
Not a retelling, an upgrade.
Follow along as a little Muslim girl gives big da'wah.
ABOUT THE STORIES
No, these stories are not Islamicized thinly-veiled (pun intended) fairy tales. They came from conversations with my first child when she was little about the problems of the princesses.Written and told as bedtime stories for my children over 25 years ago, these stories are known and loved around the world through publication in a Muslim children's magazine. Now they are released again, as Muslim children's books with the author's plasticine illustrations.12 stories in all cover many contemporary issues that conflict with Islamic lifestyle, but solve the big problems each princess faces, such as problems respecting parents, modesty, marriage and even how to cure magic.Follow along with Amal as she jumps inside the princess stories to give Islamic solutions to each of these poor princess problems. It's not a retelling of the popular princess stories, it's an upgrade.
